I hope this letter finds you in good health and excited as I am about the upcoming Internationals – 2011 – USA. Please let this letter serve as an official invitation to the 16th Annual All Tang Soo Do International Championships, which will be held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Hotel on August 11-13, 2011. For the first time in the USA the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association, Inc., in conjunction with the Worldwide Tang Soo Do Family will proudly present, Internationals – 2011 – USA, the 2nd biennial Worldwide Tang Soo Do Family International Championships. This incredibly exciting weekend of international Tang Soo Do competition, education and camaraderie will be held in the largest family vacation spot in the world… WALT DISNEY WORLD®, FLORIDA!!!

It’s the 16th Anniversary of the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association, Inc. and we have lots of fun and celebration planned in conjunction with this premier martial arts event. There is the convenience of the Contemporary Resort Hotel, which is located directly on the Disney property with access to all of Disney’s theme parks. You will want to stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel because all of the championship’s venues and activities will take place inside the hotel. Additionally, Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel provides complimentary transportation to and from Orlando’s Airport, which will represent a savings of approximately $70.00 per family each way. Also, guest of the Contemporary Hotel will save the $15.00 / day parking fee. We will be providing additional discounts on competition fees with hotel registration
confirmation number. It should be mentioned that Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel is located adjacent to the Magic Kingdom Theme Park where Disney presents their spectacular daily fireworks display. Yes, you will be able to view Disney’s fireworks directly from the Hotel property. Finally, guests of Disney's Contemporary Hotel may catch Disney’s famous monorail to Magic Kingdom® and Epcot® right in the lobby of the hotel.

All this convenience and luxury is made available to you at the highly discounted rate of $159.00 plus tax per night for single and double occupancy. Triple and Quadruple occupancy rates for guest 18 and over are available upon request for only an additional $25.00 per night per guest. Children 17 and under who stay with their parents are free. This discount provided by Disney in consideration for our group is off of its normal per evening rate of $285.00 plus tax. Reservations to Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel may be made either on line or you may register directly with the Hotel by calling Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel reservation desk at 407.824.3869. Other inquires regarding the Hotel can be made at the front desk at 407.824.1000. Your hotel reservation confirmation number is essential for obtaining your competition discount.

What categories will you be competing in?: Team and Individual Hyungs and Sparring

What categories will you be competing in?: Dan Individual Sparring and Hyungs, Traditional, Chil sung, Chang Bong, and Open Weapons (Sword).
What advice do you have for junior members in regards to their training: Be goal oriented. Always have something to focus your efforts on in class. Strive to push past your limitations one step at a time. Stretch a little further, kick a little higher, punch a bit faster. This way you'll always be improving yourself.

What categories will you be competing in?: Hyungs, Sparring.
What motivates you to continue training in the TSDMGK system? Basically..every class presents a new opportunity for me to better myself...and the more I'm pushed, kicked,punched, and just schooled ...the more respect I have for the sport.......Tang Sooo ...all!!!!.

What categories will you be competing in?: I will be competing in Individual and Team sparring, and Hyungs.
What advice do you have for junior members in regards to their training: My advice for anyone is to represent their school and organizations whenever and wherever possible by participating in tournaments and other martial arts related functions. I believe the best way to give back to one’s school and organization is to get out there and JUST DO IT!.

What categories will you be competing in?: Sparring, Weapons.
What advice do you have for junior members in regards to their training: Train with discipline, heart and intensity. You must develop the desire to be a champion both in martial arts and in life.

What categories will you be competing in?: Dan Individual Sparring, Chil Sung Hyung, Traditional Hyung, Tanto Hyung.
What are you most looking forward to on this trip?: Seeing the entire Tang Soo Do family. I can't wait to meet all the different people. Also just being in another country. Its going to be awesome!!.
