Dear Tang Soo Do Members,

I hope this letter finds you all in good health and spirits. It is with great enthusiasm and respect that on behalf of the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association, Inc., I invite you to the 31st Annual All Tang Soo Do National Championships. The Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association, Inc., has always valued our many friendships and relationships as a way to improve our understanding of each other. By fostering friendly, respectful associations and connections through healthy competition we have built bridges within the Tang Soo Do community that have endured for the past 3 decades. As a result of these efforts and dedication to these goals many members have forged life-long friendships that spanned the entire country.

It is our desire that everyone has a safe and rewarding competition and my hope is that old friendships will be enhanced and new ones made. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, November 15th, 2025. The Championship venue will be at Pagels Elementary School, 26 Benham Hill Road, West Haven, CT.
There have been several changes made to this year’s event. The venue for our national championship was originally going to be held on the University of New Haven campus gymnasium. However, because of major renovations at the campus all events scheduled for November were cancelled. As a result we had to relocate the event to the Pagels Elementary School which has ample space to conduct the championship. Normally our championship is conducted over a two day period, however because of scheduling difficulties and the recent World Championships in Inverness, Scotland adjustments had to be made and all the divisions for our event will be completed in just one day. We believe this convenience may encourage more individuals to attend and participate.

In order to ensure that our event runs efficiently, on-time and within the parameters set by our tournament committee, we will begin all the rings simultaneously at 9:00 am. All rings will continue nonstop throughout the day until all the divisions and grand championships are completed. We will use 5 judges per ring if we have enough judges. However, if we are short judges we will run rings with 3 judges. All students who preregister will receive a preregistration discount. On-line registration will close on November 12th and all preregistration discounts will end at that time. Of course, as a courtesy we will continue to accept applications at the door.
